Shilpa Patel

Biography

Dr. Shilpa Patel received her Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY, a Master of Health Professions in Physician Assistant studies from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington. She currently serves as a Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine. With a keen focus on quality improvement, she is the Chief Quality Officer at Hawai‘i Pacific Health, contributing to healthcare systems and patient safety. Dr. Patel was recognized from organizations such as the American Pediatric Society and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
