Lynn Iwamoto
Biography
Lynn Iwamoto, MD, is a Neonatologist at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children and Associate Professor of Pediatrics with the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine, currently Assistant Designated Institutional Official for JABSOM and local AAP champion for Early Hearing Detection and Intervention. She is a product of the local education system, with all education and training completed locally with occasional field trips. Her academic focus is on Quality Improvement, including managing the Maintenance of Certification program for KMCWC and HPH, overseeing QI in the Department of Pediatrics, and advising the JABSOM student interest group in Quality and Patient Safety.
