Kelly Yamasato
Biography
Dr Kelly Yamasato is a maternal-fetal medicine physician with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health. She completed medical school, residency, and fellowship at the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine. As a maternal-fetal medicine physician Dr Yamasato specializes in the inpatient and outpatient care of high-risk pregnancy. She has participated in a variety of obstetric research projects, including retrospective database analyses, prospective cohort studies, clinical trials, and translational work. As the medical director for the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children Family Birth Center, she is also heavily involved in quality improvement efforts for inpatient obstetric care.
