Benjamin Tabak
Biography
Dr. Tabak is a pediatric surgeon who specializes in general, thoracic, and advanced minimally invasive surgery for children. His educational background includes the University of Virigina (B.A.), New York Medical College (M.D.), Tripler Army Medical Center (general surgery residency), and State University at New York – University at Buffalo (pediatric surgery fellowship). He served in the United States Army for 16 years as an active duty service member, and is now a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He is passionate about developing new and innovative ways to provide better surgical care for children in Hawaii, the United States, and around the world. He enjoys working with medical students and residents in training on research projects to optimize pediatric surgical treatment.
