Ann Chang
Biography
Dr. Ann Lee Chang, MD, MPH is a obstetrician-gynecologist, Professor, Sharma Endowed Associate Chair for Community Partnership, and Chief of the Generalist Division at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at the University of Hawaii at Manoa John A. Burns School of Medicine. With commitment to medical education, she is also an Associate Program Director for the OB/GYN Residency Program. Dr. Chang received her Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. In addition, she received her Master of Public Health from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. With a comprehensive educational background, coupled with her leadership roles, Dr. Chang is a respected professional contributing significantly to medical education and women’s healthcare. She is passionate about helping her community as evidenced by her research and work focused on addressing healthcare disparities and improving health outcomes for Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islander populations.
